The church of the Virgin Mary Zoodochos Pigi was probably first built in the 17th century and was a simple single-space, wooden-roofed church with a narthex in the west. During the 19th century, it was renovated twice, with the addition of a long arch interrupted by a dome, which is supported by pillars touching the external walls. It preserves frescoes from earlier phases and mainly from 1863.
